What Our Parents Say

Great practice, wonderful caring doctors, knowledgeable staff that understands the importance of caring for sick children ASAP! We have been attending this practice for 10 years and all three of my children have received wonderful care.

Nicole O

I’ve have taken my kids there for the past 15 years. Wonderful doctors and never a wait!!

Jennifer A

We have been going here for 7 years for my 2 kids. We like all the caring and friendly docs and the staff. I appreciate that I can make calls and get helpful advice from the nurses. They are quick to make same day appointments when we need them. Everyone there knows us well and treats our family so well!

Anita G

I have two children that see the doctors at All Star. My oldest child requires speech, physical and occupational therapy and the doctors have been wonderful about writing prescriptions for his therapy and giving me referrals for various therapists. They have also given me a lot of support for his tree nut allergy and are knowledgeable about treatments for it. The practice is very supportive and excellent at connecting parents with specialists and therapies.

Nea S

All Star Pediatrics is a practice full of dedicated pediatricians, nurses, and support staff. They truly care about each of their patients, are thoughtful in their approach to the whole child, thorough, and responsive. I work frequently with the practice as a Child Psychologist and am always impressed by their personal approach and level of dedication to each patient and all of their needs (not just the medical ones) within a developmental framework. I have great respect for the staff, both personally and professionally.

Nicole M

Such a wonderful practice! Always on time and the physicians are amazing! The staff is always smiling which makes it a pleasant experience!

Renee C

All Star Pediatrics is the best practice to care for kids! I feel very fortunate to have a doctor's office that makes their team readily available from same day appts, a nurse line for advice/triage, patient portal for messaging providers, and routine visits. I also love that you call and speak to a live person working on-site and not an answering service. We love Dr. Lachman - I trust her judgement and opinion when making informed decisions for my kids' health and well-being. We have seen most of the physicians in this group and they have all been truly wonderful and take the time to listen to my questions and also engage with my kids during visits. The nurses are fabulous and want to help answer questions. The staff at the front desks and answering calls are also great, thorough, and polite. All Star Peds is the BEST! Thankful for all they do to keep their practice top notch in patient care. Keep up the great work and care.

Amanda R

Such a wonderful care team for both baby and mom! Lactation support has been superb and baby support is too. I am so glad I found this place for my newborn!

Rebecca S

I have been to this office for the past nine years with my kids. The staff and doctors are amazing. They are flexible and are able to squeeze us in when we need an appointment, like today. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

Lorena K

Incredible office! We started to come to this practice when my daughter was born. We have always been treated kindly with professionalism.Every doctor we have seen has taken their time answering all my new mom questions and educating me so I can make the best choices for my daughter. The nurses are so caring and knowledgeable - they all take their time answering questions via portal or phone. I had the best experience with the lactation nurse, Christine. The front team always warmly greets us with smiles! I have been impressed and grateful with how fast we get appointments. I cannot say enough good things about this office. We are so happy we found a great pediatrician team for our family. :)

Amanda K

A couple years ago I switched my daughters to this office. Her doctor was retiring and we weren't really happy with the office anymore. Everyone here is wonderful! Pleasant, kind and never feel in a rush. Dr. Root was my daughters choice as her primary. He's great! He cares and genuinely shows concern. Great personality and just wish I found this office from the beginning.

Sheri S

I recommend all star to all of my friends and anyone looking for a responsive, compassionate, knowledgeable and skilled pediatrician office. They’re helpful, practical, not alarmists. They really are top-notch and we have seen all of the doctors so I’m not only talking about one physician. They’ve always helped us day or night, fit us in and been as accommodating as possible. Both of our kids have received excellent care.

Ashley T

All the staff, from the receptionist to the doctors, are extremely nice and you can tell they genuinely care for your child. That is so reassuring for a new parent. Definitely happy about my choice to bring my child here. I also appreciate that they are open on Saturdays.

Mel

Switched to this pediatrician group recently. First impressions were great. On-time, well visits for two kids were quick but not rushed, solid info, and nurse did a great job with two booster shots for the big kid. Would recommend based on experience so far.

Ivana R

Dr. Root is an excellent doctor. He’s so personable, easy to talk to and thorough with my son’s visits. He takes the time to answer all questions and he never makes us feel rushed. We always receive quality care.

Lucia S

My husband and I could not say better things about All Star Pediatrics. After searching for the right practice for our kids, we are so thankful a friend recommended we reach out. From the moment we transferred our children’s medical records, the process has been seamless and easy. The doctors, nurses, and entire staff are incredibly welcoming and kind. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure the kids feel comfortable and at ease at every single appointment. We also love that the practice is split into two sides - one for sick visits and one for checkups - which makes everything feel more organized and reassuring. We just met with Dr. Matthew today, and he did an especially wonderful job making our daughter feel comfortable (she gets nervous at doctor appointments). He had plenty of distractions to help keep the kids engaged; which is helpful to I could talk to him without interruptions. He just was awesome. And our nurse Amanda! We truly appreciate All Star Pediatrics and felt we had to leave a review. If we could give 100 stars out of 5, we would!

Colleen D

The care is really great but I also want to shoutout to the front office as well. They are always kind and accommodating. Part of the reason I left our old provider was because everyone was always on edge and not very friendly. When we are at All Star, I feel like everyone cares and treats each other with respect. It goes a long way.

Anne L

We have been twice - I am soooo impressed! My sons prior ADD medicine was actually releasing at end of school day v the beginning. All Star Peds recognized right away and already, my sons feels clearer & more focused with school. They worked w me all day to get him in for a sick visit, amazing!

Sara G

This is a fantastic practice! Both our young kids come here and the doctors are extremely competent, thorough, approachable, evidence-based, and always have time to answer our questions. We can always get in on the same day for sick visits.

Crystal T

We are so glad we switched to All Star Pediatrics from the other pediatrician we started with. The office here is so clean and kid friendly and everyone from the front desk to the nurses and Dr. Starck were all amazing and so kind! We are first time parents and so glad we found this pediatrician for our new baby

Courtney L

We love All Star. We have been coming here since our children were infants and now they are teenagers! It is exciting that our boys have a male physician, they love Dr. Root! The whole team is and has always been so wonderful!

Sarah L

Awesome place for the kids!

Tomas

My daughter has been a patient at this practice for 10 years now. I drive out of my way to take her here because we love Dr. Laskonis. The office staff and nurses are also amazing. We never have an issue with getting same day sick visits.

We have been coming here for over 16 years. The docs, nursing staff and office staff are great people. We love Dr Lachman. She has always taken amazing care of my kids! New office space is beautiful!

I have been with Allstar Pediatrics since 1990. My mother took me there and now I take my two children. The nurses remembered me. They take incredible care of my babies and even called me back at 2am when I felt like I was having an emergency. If I could give this place and all of its staff ten stars, I would.

Kelly S

All Star Pediatrics is the best. They always have availability to see my children for same day illness appointments, if they don’t answer my call right away, they return calls in a timely manner, they answer my questions thoroughly and never make me feel rushed. Every doctor has an incredible and kind bedside manner. I have always had a great experience. I will be sad when my kids age out of their practice.

We have been going to ASP for over two years and it has been great. My family enjoys Dr. Root’s fun personality, knowledge and professionalism.

JoHanna A

My family loves and trusts All Star. They are fantastic. I recommend them to any family in need of a pediatric practice.

We love All Star Pediatrics—we switched to this practice about 5 years ago and haven’t looked back. We are big fans of the doctors, especially Dr. Laura Laskonis. Today we were in a bind as we had a well visit scheduled at opening, but we only had one parent available and a second child who got sick overnight. After a quick call asking how to proceed, they allowed both kids to be seen at once preventing us from having to cancel the well visit due to the sick child. That flexibility means so much to us as working parents, and additionally helped get our sick kiddo back on his feet.

Best office ever ! I absolutely love all the doctors and staff !

We have been using All Star since my kids were born! The entire staff is amazing and really gets to know their patients. We wouldn't want to go anywhere else!❤️

Theresa G

My one year old needed to get in for a sick visit today. Dr. Root was the doctor assigned to our case. He was quick and thorough with my sons assessment, which is much appreciated when trying to keep a little toddler occupied. Dr. Root is the best!

JoHanna A

We love all the staff. Our children feel safe and comfortable with all the doctors in the practice.

Tricia R

All Star Pediatrics has been an amazing experience for our family. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, the doctors are attentive and truly care, and appointments run on time, which I really appreciate. It makes every visit smooth and stress-free.

Noemi M

Such a kind, friendly, professional facility my son and I love it there. They’ve been seeing my son since he was born and he’s 2+ now in addition to the staff I am most appreciative of the hours, especially as a teacher and single mom the hours of operation has been most helpful in not having to leave work early when my son is sick just to make it to an appointment. There are five stars all around so glad my coworker recommended this office.

Amalia H

All Star has been such a gift to our family! They always find a way to squeeze us in for sick visits and are very timely with appointments. I can also always get a nurse on the line quickly, which is a huge relief with 3 kids. The doctors and nurses are incredibly kind and they give the best stickers ;) so my kids love it there too.

Dana K

I recently started my care here for my son, this office has it all from lactation to therapy. The office staff is so friendky and welcoming the office itself is really nice and clean and my son's provider is very attentive and never is in a rush especially as new parents who have over 100 questions or concerns. Highly recommend.

Araceli G

I can't possibly recommend this practice enough. Every single person is efficient, kind, responsive, organized...... I didn't even know a doctor's office could be this great. We have seen all the pediatricians in this practice by this point and we can't even say we have a favorite - they're all our favorite!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dr. Root is truly an incredible pediatrician, and I’m so grateful we found him at All Star Pediatrics. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, patient, and genuinely takes the time to listen to both the child and the parent. You never feel rushed or like your concerns are being brushed aside. What I appreciate most is how thorough he is. He explains things clearly, answers every question, and makes you feel confident that your child is receiving the very best care. He has such a calm and reassuring way about him, which makes a huge difference when you’re worried about your child. All Star Pediatrics is lucky to have Dr. Root, and I would absolutely recommend him to any parent looking for a pediatrician who truly cares about his patients and their families. He goes above and beyond, and we couldn’t be happier with the care he provides! ❤️
